Welcome to Joiya ME Writes, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing this website, purchasing services, scheduling consultations, or participating in coaching programs, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this website or purchase services.

1. Services

Joiya ME Writes provides author coaching, manuscript evaluation, developmental feedback, publishing strategy consultations, accountability coaching, educational resources, workshops, and related services.

All services are educational and consultative in nature and are intended to support writers in developing their craft and navigating the publishing process.

2. No Guarantee of Publishing Success

While we strive to provide high-quality guidance and industry-informed recommendations, we make no guarantees regarding:

●     Publication by a traditional publisher

●     Literary agent representation

●     Book sales

●     Bestseller status

●     Awards or recognition

●     Income generated from writing

Results vary based on numerous factors beyond our control, including market conditions, manuscript quality, timing, and individual effort.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

●     Provide accurate information necessary for coaching services

●     Complete agreed-upon assignments and revisions

●     Participate respectfully in coaching sessions

●     Maintain ownership and responsibility for their writing decisions

Clients understand that coaching is a collaborative process and that ultimate responsibility for their manuscript rests with the author.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

For coaching packages or installment plans:

●     Payments must be made according to the agreed schedule (usually on the first of each month).

●     Missed payments may result in suspension of services.

●     Outstanding balances must be paid in full before final materials are delivered.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule coaching sessions with at least 24 hours' notice.

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited and are not guaranteed to be rescheduled. However, we understand that life happens and will try our best to accommodate all clients.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds.

Package expiration dates, if applicable, will be specified in the coaching agreement.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the time-intensive and customized nature of coaching services, refunds are generally not available once services have begun.

Unused portions of prepaid packages may be considered for partial refund at our sole discretion.

Completed coaching sessions, manuscript reviews, written evaluations, and editorial feedback are non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

Clients retain all ownership rights to their manuscripts, ideas, outlines, characters, and creative works.

Any feedback, educational materials, worksheets, templates, presentations, videos, course content, and proprietary resources provided by Joiya ME Writes, LLC remain the intellectual property of Joiya ME Writes, LLC.

Clients may use these materials for personal writing development but may not:

●     Reproduce them for commercial purposes

●     Distribute them publicly

●     Resell them

●     Teach or republish them without written permission

8. Confidentiality

We respect the confidential nature of creative work.

Manuscripts and project materials submitted by clients will not be shared with third parties except:

●     As required by law

●     With the client's written permission

●     When necessary to provide contracted services through approved contractors who are bound by confidentiality obligations

9. Independent Relationship

Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, or legal representation relationship between the parties.

Participation in coaching services does not establish a literary agent-client relationship.

10. Educational Disclaimer

The information provided through coaching sessions, workshops, courses, newsletters, blog content, and other materials is for educational purposes only.

Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, tax, psychological, or professional advice.

Clients should consult qualified professionals regarding matters outside the scope of author coaching.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joiya ME Writes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or coaching services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Website Content

All content on this website, including text, graphics, branding, logos, downloadable materials, and educational resources, is protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

13. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or policies of those websites.

14. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
